We have been in the restaurant, hospitality and wine industries for over 20 years, picking up and moving north from Napa Valley in 2014 to explore new opportunities and challenges — and settling in the Walla Walla Valley in 2018. During this time, we have been fortunate to work with – and learn from – some of the very best in these fields. We are excited to bring this knowledge and experience to Atelier Freewater (and indeed, to all of our projects), to continue pushing things forward — whether it be wine, food, hospitality, design or otherwise.

TODD ALEXANDER

Winemaker for Force Majeure and WeatherEye Vineyards, founder of Beatus wines, co-founder of PÁŚXA wines and previously Winemaker and General Manager of Bryant Family Vineyard in the Napa Valley – with additional Washington and Oregon projects in the pipeline. Now working on 2 continents, Todd’s focus is on terroir-driven winemaking and crafting delicious, fresh, complete, textural and age-worthy wines that are among the very best of their regions each vintage, always critically acclaimed. One of the select few repeatedly “100-point winemakers” in the region.

CARRIE ALEXANDER

Carrie has been fortunate to work with people like Cindy Pawlcyn, Molly Chappellet, Blakesley Chappellet, Sean Knight and Thomas Keller, and lends her branding, marketing, design, photography and service talents to all of our projects. She co-founded PASXA wines, a brand she designed and developed, which became a Top 100 winery in Wine & Spirits in 2023. She is led by a strong belief that wine is about relationships, and demonstrates that through thoughtful, considerate and gracious service. She also understands that one experiences things with all five senses — and that is the keystone to top design execution.
